St John's Ashfield

St John’s is a community of people learning to let the rich depths of God’s grace in Jesus shine through all the ups and downs of life in the Inner West.

Some of us are here for the long term, and some of us are just passing through; but while we’re here, we’ll walk and wrestle together to reflect God’s love for the world more and more in our own lives and beyond.

Kids at St John's 10am

We love welcoming kids to St John’s! Our children’s programs are far more than child-minding: they are places for kids to learn, have fun, and get to know each other in a safe and welcoming environment.

Creche
is available for children aged 0-5. Together at creche we sing songs, hear Bible stories, and have a fantastic time with a team of experienced leaders and helpers.

Kids church is for children from years K-5. Each week kids learn from the Bible, sing songs, play games, use their creativity in craft, and form friendships together.

The Bible discussion group for kids in years 6-8 provides an opportunity for junior high schoolers to develop their Bible knowledge and integrate it with their lives, including growing healthy spiritual habits.

All leaders in our children and youth ministries have completed training and checks in line with the NSW Government and Sydney Anglican Diocese protocols around safe ministry for children and vulnerable people.
