WHAT WE DO
We pray that we might be a place where lives are transformed, enriched and enjoyed all under the lordship of Christ. We pray that over time, St Bede’s will be a community hub - a place not only for inspiring worship services on Sunday, but a place with activities throughout the week as we share our lives together. Our hope remains that through our connection with our broader community, they will come to know Jesus as Lord.
Kids & Youth
GLOW - K-4, 3:30-5pm Fridays
Drummoyne's newest kids club is for anyone from Kindy to Year 4. We have a 'walking bus' from Drummoyne Public School at 3.20pm.
We start with a healthy afternoon tea, followed by a bunch of fun activities, craft, and we always hear a short Bible story about Jesus. If you'd like to hear more about what we do, please feel free to inquire - parents are always welcome to stick around to watch or even participate!
Glow costs only $5 per week, or $40 per term - we accept cash or direct deposit (see below). To register please fill in the below permission form and send it to
Account name: St Bedes Anglican Church

Our ever-popular playgroup meets on Tuesdays 10am-12pm during the school term. It’s a place where children and parents play and relax in a happy, safe environment. Everyone is welcome!
Our playgroup is limited to 30 families per playgroup. In the case of a playgroup being full, you can opt to go onto a waiting list. There is a $30 fee per term, per family.
There are a number of Christian-related activities during the year (e.g. Easter and Christmas) and we advertise a number of church events from time to time. Please refer to the St Bede’s Playgroup Facebook Page for more information
Ages 10+, 3:30-5:30 Thursdays
We partner with Anglicare to run the Drummoyne Drop in every Thursday during term time. It's for anyone in years 5 - 10. There are qualified Youth Workers present every week to run a skills-based program and want to help kids grow in maturity and resilience.
While we're not afraid to explain what we believe, we are all about respect and community - we want to welcome everyone and we want to hear your story. No pressure, no expectations. Anyone is welcome! Come and enjoy some afternoon tea, games, fun and chats about life.
The Beedles is our Sunday morning kids' ministry at St Bede's. For ages 3+, our kids have a blast learning about what it means to follow Jesus. The Beedles are our youngest believers at St Bede’s so they are super important to us!
Craft, stories, music and the occasional jump on our Noah's Ark jumping castle.
For more information, please contact the church office.
St Bede's Youth
St Bede's Youth is our Sunday group for teenagers who are keen to explore faith and grow in their commitment to Jesus. We welcome anyone from year 5 and above.
Youth is a place to belong, ask questions, connect with new people, read the bible and discover how Jesus both changed the world and can change your life. No experience or background of Christianity is needed or expected! We're going to eat way too much food, play games, get to know each other, and get stuck into the Bible's claims and how it has surprising answers to big questions that our culture and our world is asking 2000 years later.
St Bede's has partnered with the good people at Harris Farm to provide meals for people who are struggling in one way or another. If you are ever in need of a meal, or hear of someone who is, we have a freezer full!
A weekly class for those waiting to maintain their flexibility and mobility. Run by an Anglicare Physiotherapist the 1 hr class always finishes with a cuppa and a chat. The classes are designed for those 65+ and cost $11 per session but concession are available for those with financial difficulties.
Mobile Community Pantry
The Anglicare MCP is on our site (fortnightly) from 9.30am - 10.30am with their truck full of discounted food for those with either pensioners', health-care or immigration cards. A bag of groceries will be $10 with a true value closer to $60. Fruit ’n’ veg, bread and milk are also often available.
Community Groups at St Bede's
Many St Bede’s members meet weekly in smaller groups to share life and discuss the application of the Bible’s teaching. Our small groups are places of learning, friendship, care and hospitality. You’d be very welcome to visit one or join one. Our groups currently meet in Drummoyne, Five Dock, and Putney
